I am an evolutionary biologist at the Australian National University, currently visiting at the University of Graz. I use mathematical models to understand the evolution of behaviour.

I am interested in the evolution of mating systems: Why do females and males differ in their behaviour? Why are some species hermaphroditic and other have separate sexes?

I also develop statistical tools to quantify natural and sexual selection.
